Winter Crochet Patterns

Here are some of my favorite FREE winter crochet patterns:

Crochet Calorimetry

Ever since I saw the Calorimetry in Knitty, I have wished for a crochet equivalent. Well, my wish has come true!
Thanks to this blog!

They work up quickly and they will make nice Christmas gifts (or whichever winter holiday you celebrate )

RIBBED NECK/FACE WARMER
http://patbythehook.blogdrive.com/archive/43.html
These are so much nicer than trying to keep a scarf wrapped around your neck, and much safer for those kids that ride the school bus. It can be pulled up over your mouth and nose, or worn slouched down around your neck. It also works well pulled up over your ears like a wide headband.

Bev's Marvelous Mittens

These are so easy and she explains how to make any size you need

HATS
Thanks to yarnluver on Crochetville for this post: http://www.crochetville.org/forum/showthread.php?t=89187 where she shows some boys and girls hats she made.
She used this pattern from yarncat for the girls hats http://www.yarncat.com/Timberon.html
She made up her own pattern for the boys hats: http://www.crochetville.org/forum/showthread.php?t=89271
